Vikings can be traced far back to the eighth century when they were known as raiders and plunderers but there were also farmers and traders who bartered with people between 800 and 1066 AD. This Viking Drinking Horn is linked to the Vikings, these courageous warriors loved to drink alcoholic beverages like beer and mead. So if you are throwing a party with a Viking-inspired theme, this horn is a must-have for you.
These horns are made from real buffalo horns. They are hand-picked and harvested from the finest livestock. Each of these horns goes through various hot and cold processes to remove its core. After this, they are softened for shaping and then hardened again. A food-safe coating is applied and then the horn will be cleaned and polished. All of these processes are done by hand and in the end, the horn retains its natural texture.
Each horn stand is specifically crafted to fit its horn. The horn is about twelve to thirteen inches long and it can hold about 300ml to 600ml of liquid. Its glossy polish makes it water-resistant, which means it will not get worn out easily and will last for a very long time. No two horns are ever the same, as each horn is authentic and has its own unique shape and color design.
Using the Viking Drinking Horn for your party is one way to show that you care for your environment. Most parties nowadays opt for plastic and paper cups which are easy to dispose of. However, the constant use of these cups is harmful to our environment. The Viking Drinking Horn is reuseable so at the end of the party, there won’t be so much garbage. Another plus to this horn is that you could use it as your giveaway item for your guest.
