The Qball mic is a handball mic that makes classes and conferences more interactive and fun. Walking up to a participant in a classroom or a conference room before they can use the mic has been defeated. With a simple toss of this Qball mic, the one with the mic has the floor.
This mic is made to bounce like a real handball without harming the recipient or destroying the microphone. Each toss of the ball mic awakens a dull class in no time. Throw this ball randomly at students in your class to get their brilliant contributions. Students in a class or participants in a conference don’t have to strain their ears to listen to their colleagues anymore.
Teachers and students love this Qball mic, it has been known to foster sound learning and interaction among students. It’s a perfect mic for public speakers. A uniqueness that’s beyond the fun is its high-quality stereo sound that travels up to a distance of 9 feet. Throw this Qball mic to the quietest students in your class and get them excited to give you the most audible reply you never expected.
Major Features of the Qball
It has an inbuilt USB-charged lithium-polymer battery that lasts up to 9 hours on full-charging. A crater is located on the inside of the ball (directly beneath the dark windscreen) to hold the sound transmitter in place. The transmitter is portable – it’s a piece that is protected by the crater and the entire body of the ball. So, when you toss the ball, the transmitter is not affected a bit.
The transmitter has adjustable volume buttons, a power button, and the mute button on its head to control its outputs. Since the transmitter goes into the ball, it would have been a major turn down if those control units had been on the transmitter only. But fortunately, that’s not the case with this product. It has an external receiver that does all the adjustments – without you having to open the windscreen to make necessary adjustments.
This version 2.0 of the Qball mic also has an automated system that mutes the sound output of the mic whenever you toss the ball. So, I’d say, that’s brilliant too and worth the price. This product also has other nice features like auto-off and auto-sleep – to save its battery significantly.
Another great feature of the ball mic is you can plug it into an external sound system to improve its sound quality – should you be unsatisfied with its output. But usually, if you’re holding a conference or a class, you’ll hardly need support for the sound output, it’s good enough.
So, to put this Qball mic to its full use, all you need do is toss it to the next audience, participant or student in your class. It’s great for teaching all grade classes, ranging from nursery grade to college and university level classes. When next you ask a question, toss the ball. I bet your students will rush to grab the mic. With this ball mic, everyone learns one way or the other. So, go ahead and make learning and corporate discussions more fun!
