The Nipple Shield for Breastfeeding is specially designed to protect the nipple of a nursing mother. It is a thin cover that a mother places over her nipple prior to breastfeeding to protect the nipple from baby teeth. It is made of high-quality liquid silicone which is the safest rubber material and is widely used in baby and mom care products and medical products. This shield is ultra-thin, flexible, super-soft, and BPA/BPS-free. It rests over the mom’s nipple when placed against her breast.
Its special design helps babies who have latch-on difficulties and mothers who have flat, sunken, short, or cracked nipples that make it difficult for babies to breastfeed properly. There are tiny holes at the tip that milk can flow through into the baby’s mouth. The shield is like a hat with a brim and a crown. It has cut-out sections around the brim that allows the baby’s nose and chin to be in contact with the mother’s skin rather than the nipple shield. This promotes good attachment.

Initially, I thought it would feel so artificial that my baby will reject it. That is not the case at all.

I almost gave up breastfeeding my five month old son because of constant bites. My nipple became so painful that the thought of breastfeeding him became scary to me. I met with a nurse at the clinic and she told me about this Nipple Shield for Breastfeeding, so I search for it and found it here. Since then, breastfeeding has become so easy and interesting. I have been using it for close to two weeks now, and I am very happy with it. Breastfeeding should be a thing of joy that every nursing mother should look forward to, and enjoy. This has made that possible for me.

My son bites a lot when he feeds and so I really needed this nipple shield. Happy to have found this. The milk flows very well through the holes on it. I’ve been using it for a month now and I don’t have any problem with it. Right now I’m so used to it. I don’t feed him without it. Feels so much better with the shield.
