Features of the Laser Measuring Tape
The laser measuring tape has a backlit digital display screen. This display screen shows measurements up to three decimal places. You know how you get dimensions that are somewhere in between the markings and you’re not quite sure what figures to estimate? This device puts an end to that by giving you exact figures to work with.
This instrument has two working modes. You can choose to go the old fashioned route by extending the tape rule for measurement. You can also use the laser range finder. The laser range finder is useful for longer distances as the tape measure only extends to 5m. On the other hand, the laser can measure distances up to 40m. In addition to this, the laser range finder has the night vision function that allows you to take measurements in the dark. I’m not sure it gets any better than this.
It is powered by a rechargeable 300mAh battery. Each charge lasts up to a week of continued use. The charging port is designed to fit a standard micro-USB cable.
You can switch between the metric and imperial measuring systems depending on whichever you prefer.
This instrument features a waterproof and dustproof design. So don’t be afraid to get down and dirty with your measuring tape, it is pretty easy to clean.
