If you ask around, you would find out that there is probably no greater gift you can give a true fan of the Halo video game series, than the Halo Energy Sword.
First revealed in the original game the started the series, Halo: Combat Evolved, the energy sword was the signature weapon of high leveled enemy aliens called the Sanghelli or Elites. Reserved for their nobility, encounters with enemies wielding this weapon were few and far between but they were always memorable for two reasons. First was that, unless you had played the game before there was a high probability that you would die a few times from the encounter because the halo energy sword, if used correctly by the enemy, would kill your character in one strike. The second reason was that once you defeated an enemy using this weapon, you could pick it up to become a relentless one hit killing machine.
This halo energy sword recreates that weapon and allows you relive the moments from the video game in real life. Of course this version of the sword is not made from alien materials, neither does it emit pure hard light energy sharp enough to cut almost anything. It is a replica after all. It is twenty five inches in length, eleven inches wide, and made from a durable plastic material. The sword handle is colored silver and black, while the blades are a light shade of blue with white lines running through it to simulate energy flow and make it look just like it does in the Halo games.
If you’ve ever wanted to cosplay as a character from the Halo games, whether on the side of the UNSC or the Covenant, regardless of which character type you choose, the energy sword would be the perfect accessory to complete your look. This is because even if they do not recognize which character you’re playing as, they will definitely recognize where the sword comes from. Even if you’re not into cosplay, the energy sword will still make a great addition to your collection of geek paraphernalia that you put on display in your man cave or bedroom.
