The Exploride Head Up Display unit is a standalone device that makes it much easier and safer to view information about your car. You don’t have to take your eyes off the road while driving, even if it’s to see how fast you are moving or how much gas is left.

You can see these details, projected in crisp, clear quality while keeping your eyes on the road. This reduces the risk of getting distracted while driving.

The On-Board diagnostics (OBD) cable (included with the product) provides access to these critical metrics and data about your car. This cable has universal compatibility, and thus works on all car makes and models.

Head Up Display Accessories

For the best display resolution, a transparent reflective film is included. This film is easy to install. All you need to do is to peel off the backing and place the film in the desired location. Some of the standard installation places are the driver’s side or the centre of your windshield. For maximum adhesion, you should clean the windscreen thoroughly before installation.

Also, the Exploride HUD comes with a non-slip rubber matting. This makes sure it remains stuck on your dashboard as you traverse bumps, pot-holes, and sharp turns. It also eliminates slip hazard if liquid spills.

Useful car data

The options for selecting what metric to display are on the right pane, while the primary digital display is on the left pane. Some of the data you can choose to view are as listed;

• Fuel consumption – how much fuel has is left in your tank (litre per hour or liter per 100km)
• Water temperature – how hot or cold the water is
• Driving time – how long you have been on the road for (in minutes)
• Driving distance – how far you have driven
• Voltage – the charge on your batteries

The driving speed is displayed in a separate panel just below the primary digital display. It essentially returns the reading of your speedometer.
