This Electronic Piggy Bank is an excellent educational tool to teach young people the benefits of savings. It is also good for adults who want to keep track of cash at hand. The Bank is designed to accommodate both coins and cash, so you’d never lose sight of any loose change. And of course, although it starts out as loose change, it grows into quite a sum pretty quickly.
Upon purchase, you will need to set a four-digit code which will serve as a password to open the Bank. The default code is “0000” so you will need to change that. The details on how to get the Piggy Bank set up are explicitly presented in an instruction manual which is included with the package. It is powered by 3 AA batteries which are not included with the product but can be easily gotten from any store near you.

I needed a safe place to keep my cash. A savings account doesn’t just cut it, as it’s very easy for me to dip into it. So I got this piggy bank for my self-discipline. I’m going to see how I can save in the piggy bank without opening it for about 6 months. I would even use a code that I’ll forget. Maybe I’ll just keep the code somewhere and forget about it for 6 months. As for the piggy bank it’s a high quality storage box.

Teaching our teenage boys the importance of saving money this year. They aren’t going to be expecting as many freebies from us anymore, so we got this to help them commit to the art of proper budgeting.
