The science behind it

Electricity is generated by the chemical reactions of water. So water works as the conducting agent that completes the electrical circuit for the clock. The back compartment of each clock contains the internal converter which extracts electrons from water (or other liquid) molecules. This then provides a steady stream of electrical current acting as a fuel cell to generate power to the clock.

How to use

To power up your clock, unscrew the base and fill it with tap water. The LCD screen dims when it’s time to replace the water. Simply pour out the old water and refill the reservoir with fresh water. Don’t panic as an embedded chip will retain your settings while you replace the water. Runs 5 weeks to 6 months before needing to change water.
