Description
Thanks to advances in technology, even simple things like taking a bath can become much safer and informative with the color changing bath faucet.
In homes with regular access to hot water, you know how annoying it can be to head to the bathroom for a shower on a cold morning with the expectation that a hot shower would be the perfect thing to help you start your day, only to be blasted with freezing cold water when you turn on the faucet. It’s even worse when you’re expecting cold water, probably to brush your teeth or wash your face and you end up burning yourself with scalding hot water.
These are common occurrences that could lead to serious injury and it’s surprising that a visual indicator to show what temperature of water coming from the faucet is not as common as it should be. Thanks to the color changing bath faucet though, you never have to fall victim to these kinds of mistakes anymore.
The faucet operates on a simple, yet intuitive design that changes the colors of the LED light built into the faucet immediately it detects a change in the temperature of the water flowing through it. When it’s cold water (32-86℉), it produces a blue light; warm water (87.8-104℉) produces a green light; hot water (105.8-122℉) – red light; and extremely hot water (123.8-212℉) will make the LED produce a flashing red warning light to prevent scalding.
This LED temperature system is not powered by water pressure like some other color changing systems. Instead it uses four AAA batteries within a waterproof system that if installed correctly, will not have any problems with being damaged by the water flowing through the faucet. The faucet itself is made from brass and has a modern, mono block design with a single hole for water flow, and a refined turning mechanism for managing the flow.
The spout of the color changing bath faucet is transparent which is both a design element (because of how beautiful it looks), and a functional element (because it improves the visibility of the LED light).
