Although R. Kelly described Gotham City as one of justice, love, and peace, it is anything but. From Ra’s al Ghul to Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin), terrifying villains abound in this city. Even with Bruce Wayne’s best efforts at curbing this chaos, we must find a way to protect ourselves. What better way to do this than to use a Batman Batarang?
Easy to carry
The Batarang throwing knife is an essential gear in The Dark Knight’s arsenal. He’s hardly ever without it when he goes about saving the day (or the night). Weighing just about 2lbs, this Batarang can easily follow you everywhere you go. You need only conceal it till it’s the right time to strike!
Weapon? Maybe
This Batman Batarang is made of a zinc alloy and steel. You were probably wishing it had some Kryptonite in it so that you could square-up to Superman as Batman did in Dawn of Justice. Well, don’t falter. I doubt you’d ever get in a quarrel with Clark Kent. It’s not like you’re a villain, right? Although, if it ever comes to, this Batarang throwing knife can be harmful to anyone it is hurled at. That is, of course, if you have good aim, power, and range.
Desk stand
If you will rather not have the Batarang concealed in your batsuit, you can place it on your office desk or at home in your Batcave. This weapon sits atop a magnetic stand that mirrors its iconic shape. Thus you can mark your territory wherever you are.
If Bruce is ever needed, all you need do is comfortably detach the Batarang from the base. Then using a searchlight, you can create a shadow of the Batarang in the night sky. Yes, your very own Bat-Signal and Gotham’s hero will be sure to come to save you!
Collectible
The Batman Batarang is a gleaming and accurate replica of Batman’s gear, except that it is not sharp. This knife will, however, hurt someone if thrown at, and should therefore not be given to very young kids. It is a great collectible and necessary addition to your Dark Knight cosplay for Comic-Con or Halloween parties. It could also serve as a cool letter opener if you can sharpen any of its edges.
