The winter season and all the snow it brings is usually responsible for a lot of mishaps, and one of the worse of these potential mishaps is getting your car stuck in the snow due to loss of traction. Luckily for most of you, the Anti-Skid Car Tire Straps exist to save you and your poor vehicle from roadside embarrassments.
The anti-skid car tire straps are relatively simple devices. A pair of thick, rectangular rubber plates connected to a woven nylon rope with metal clasps on both ends. Yet, this simple device is revolutionary in its function of providing extra grip for vehicles. It’s one of those car tools that you never know exist, but once you encounter one and discover it’s potential, then you never want to be without it, especially if you live in regions that get snowfalls regularly.
Imagine a scenario where you’re on your way home from work on a cold, winter’s evening. It’s snowing pretty hard and you’re driving carefully so that you don’t start skidding and cause an accident. Unfortunately, you turn into an abandoned stretch of road and your tires get caught in a snow drift. No matter how much you put your foot down, those tires are not coming free. If anything, they’re sinking deeper into the snow.
So what do you do? You could call emergency services for a tow truck but it’s the holidays and the likelihood of someone showing up soon is low. Not to mention that it’s getting dark and you’re on a lonely road. If you’re one of our lucky customers and you have these anti-skid straps in the boot of your car, then all you need is five minutes of elbow grease and you’re good to go.
Getting your tires free from a snow drift is as easy as wrapping the straps around the driven wheels of your vehicle with the rubber pads facing outwards, just over the treads of the tire. Adjust the straps so their tight, then get into your car and floor it! And you’re free to go. Remember it should be on the driven tires, so if your vehicle is front wheel drive, then the straps go on the front tire, and vice versa. And if you drive an all wheel drive vehicle, then how did you get stuck in the first place?

This easy-to-use and simple anti-skid car tire strap is the best. Whether my husband is home or not, I can strap it onto my car tires without any extra effort and the straps never loosen like I was worried they would. They stay on regardless of what kind of terrain I’m driving on.
