Sleep apnea can be a potentially serious sleeping disorder, and most doctors recommend a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) mask for treatment. While it may be an unfortunate turn of events if you or your loved one is diagnosed with this disorder, that doesn’t mean you should not use the situation (having to sleep with a CPAP mask) to your “nefarious” advantage. It is the perfect opportunity to scare some unsuspecting people with our alien facehugger CPAP ventilator mask.
Based on the design of the creepy and deadly facehuggers from the Aliens movie franchise, this mask can be used as a normal cosplay mask or Halloween mask. But it can also fit over the breathing apparatus of a CPAP ventilator mask. When you put on the CPAP mask with the facehugger attached, you could easily fool someone into thinking that an alien creepy crawly has attached itself to your face and is in the process of laying eggs in your mouth or doing some other mildly disgusting things to your face, just like the creatures from the movie.
The facehugger mask is made from 100% natural latex. The mask may have a smell when initially unpacked but you shouldn’t worry as this is expected with masks made from this material and it is non-toxic. The smell can be dispelled by airing out the mask before using it. It also comes with eye holes for decent visibility and mouth and nose holes to breathe through if you decide to use the mask without attaching it to a CPAP ventilator.
The styling, texture and colors of the mask’s exterior are designed to be as close as possible to the original facehuggers from the movie, with a rough disjointed surface that gives a feeling similar to naked animal skin. The greenish yellow color accentuates the alien nature of the creature.
The mask has a tail much like the creature that inspired it, and the tubing for the CPAP ventilator can be passed through it to the machine. Even without the ventilator attached, the mask will do great as part of a Halloween costume or for playing pranks. You couldn’t find a more perfect geeky gift for that friend of yours who is a devout Aliens fan.

Love everything about this mask. In my opinion, I think this is how detailed every cosplay mask should get. The extended tail of the mask gives me jitters even though I know it isn’t a real alien. Imagine the surprise I gave my sister when she came over and found me wearing the mask.

I got this to change up my CPAP mask once in a while. It kinda looks like some creepy alien creature is attached to your face sucking the life out of you and I absolutely love it. It was delivered on time and is definitely natural latex. I thought there would be problems but I was glad that it was easy to attach the mask to my CPAP ventilator’s tubing, so that’s a plus. The mask had a slight odor when I initially got it but after a little airing, the smell disappeared.

I love the texture, color, and style of the mask. It looks like something I’d expect to see in a strange alien horror movie and it spices up my boring CPAP ventilator mask too. The shipping was pretty fast and I got exactly what I’d been expecting. If I can’t think of a better costume idea next Halloween, I plan to mix this mask with a costume. I’m going to bet someone will definitely be scared when they see it in the dark.

Frankly, having to sleep with a CPAP mask at night because of my sleep apnea really sucks. This Alien face-hugging mask is just what I needed to make things fun and stop feeling sorry for myself. It’s perfect for scaring the life out of my dorm mates and their visitors. Every day, I just fix the Alien mask to my CPAP ventilator when I’m ready to go to bed and pray someone gets startled by it. Hahaha.
